I was brought up in Barcelona and always dreamed of being a chef and owning my own restaurant. When I left school I was lucky enough to be accepted at the renowned school Hoffman Barcelona, recognised as one of the best chef schools in Europe. After Hoffman I worked in an array of kitchens where I honed my skills and fuelled my passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
After 5 years working in kitchens around Barcelona I wanted to turn my hand to other aspects of creating and design and went to study at the London College of Fashion. I have since started my own jewellery business which has been running since 2014.
I have Portuguese family and I have spend most summers in our family summer home in the Algarve. At the beginning of the pandemic my husband and I decided we’d had enough of the fast London pace of life and made the move to Portugal permanently. We started Private Chef Algarve as the perfect solution for an extra revenue stream, combining our love and skills in Mediterranean cooking along with a passion for hosting and meeting people from all walks of life. What started as very much a side project, we now run full time, catering to all sorts of events from private dinners to weddings and receptions.
We love to showcase the best that the Mediterranean has to offer. We’re so lucky to live in such an amazing part of the world with fantastic produce and we always allow the ingredients to do the talking.
